We will start the 2025 brevet season with a 200 km ride from Tukums to Kuldīga and back. To introduce ourselves a little and maybe answer some questions, we have prepared a short description.

You can register for the ride in advance by choosing a payment method, or by paying on site in cash. Please note that 3 days before the event or at the start location, registration will already cost 20 euros, while pre-registration will cost 15 euros. If for some reason you cannot participate, but the payment has been made, please contact the AUDAX LV management (janis.balins@audax.lv), for a 100% refund of the deposit, 3 days before the event, the deposit is returned in the amount of 50%. The deposit is not transferred to another brevet.

The start of the brevet is at 8:00, so please arrive earlier to prepare, the event location will be open from 7:10.

There will be a WC available at the start location. The starting point is open until 9:00, which means that if you miss the start at 8:00, you can start until 9:00, but the finish time remains the same, until 21:30.

Upon receiving your Brevet card, you will have the opportunity to replenish your water and banana reserves, free of charge. At the checkpoint in Kuldīga, there will be a WC, free water and bananas available. There, you will have to show your Brevet card for a stamp. At the checkpoint in Talsi, you must take a photo against a CircleK background. At the finish, the Brevet card must be shown for a stamp. It remains with the organizers for data collection and can be returned to the rider after 30 days.

The Brevet is a self-sufficient ride and everyone must be sure that they will be able to complete the ride on their own. The organizers do not provide any technical assistance during the ride or if a participant withdraws from the Brevet. Participants can help each other.

Deviation from the route is not allowed, if you deviate from the route (shop, technical break, etc. reasons) you must return to the route at the same place.

The Brevet takes place while participating in traffic and the roads are not closed. All Road Traffic Regulations must be followed. You must be especially careful in areas of heavy traffic, in cities, when turning or entering roads of different importance.

By participating, the participant confirms that he has become familiar with the Brevet rules and by participating confirms that he has become familiar with them.
