Super Randonneur Tracker: Your Year-Round Companion for Audax Excellence

The Hall of Fame just got a powerful new feature: the Super Randonneur (SR) Tracker. This intelligent system automatically monitors your progress toward one of randonneuring’s most prestigious awards — completing 200km, 300km, 400km, and 600km brevets (only done on audax.lv portal) in the same calendar year. No more spreadsheets. No more mental math. Just clear, real-time visualization of where you stand.

What is Super Randonneur?

For those new to the world of randonneuring, the Super Randonneur (SR) award is one of the most respected achievements in long-distance cycling. To earn it, a rider must complete four qualifying brevets — at distances of 200km, 300km, 400km, and 600km — all within the same calendar year. Each of these rides is a significant challenge on its own; completing all four in a single season requires consistent training, careful planning, and the mental fortitude to push through fatigue, weather, and the inevitable low points that come with ultra-distance cycling. The SR award originated in France as part of the Audax Club Parisien’s brevet series and has since become a global standard, recognized by randonneuring organizations worldwide. It represents not just physical endurance, but the discipline to show up month after month, season after season, and earn each distance on its own terms. For many riders, earning a Super Randonneur season is the moment they truly consider themselves a randonneur.

What Makes This Tracker Different?

The SR Tracker isn’t just a static badge. It’s a live, data-driven companion that automatically scans (if you use the same name for each brevet) every brevet result on the portal, identifies finished rides at the four qualifying distances, groups them by calendar year, shows you exactly what’s missing with actionable links to upcoming events, and tracks your consecutive-year streak — because consistency matters.

The Hero Banner: Your Year in One Glance

At the top of every cyclist’s profile page, you’ll find the SR Hero Banner a bold, color-coded dashboard that answers one question: “Where am I this year?”

How the Data Flows

The tracker works silently in the background, scanning every brevet result that gets imported into the system. When a rider finishes a qualifying distance — 200, 300, 400, or 600 kilometers — the system records it against that calendar year. If all four distances appear in the same year, the rider earns Super Randonneur status.

The system also calculates a rank among all SR earners for each year, showing not just that you earned it, but where you stand among your peers. Riders are sorted by achievement points, giving credit to those who go above and beyond the minimum requirements.

What About Future Brevets?

One of the most practical features of the tracker is its ability to look ahead. When you’re missing a distance, the system queries upcoming portal-hosted brevets matching that distance and presents them as actionable links. This turns the tracker from a passive record into an active planning tool — you see exactly what you need and when you can ride it.

If no brevet is currently scheduled for a missing distance, the tracker displays a friendly message to check back later, acknowledging that the event calendar is always evolving.

Getting Started

If you have an existing cyclist profile, the SR Tracker is already working for you. Visit your public profile page to see your current progress. If you’re new to the portal, create an account and start logging brevets — the tracker will begin monitoring your progress immediately. All data is drawn from official results, so there’s nothing to configure or maintain.

The Super Randonneur Tracker represents a significant step forward in how the Brevets Hall of Fame supports riders on their journey. It turns a complex, multi-year achievement into something clear, visual, and actionable. Check your progress today — and see how close you are to adding another year to your streak.
